We are truly stronger, together. We are humbled to announce that we are a Maui Strong Fund grantee.

The Maui Strong Fund of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation is providing financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs of people and places affected by the devastating Maui wildfires.

The Maui Strong Fund of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation has granted $238,000 to The Maui Calm Project to cover our operational costs for an entire year! The funds will be awarded once the float facility arrives on Maui. This is instrumental for us to provide clinical float therapy completely FREE OF CHARGE to fire survivors, first responders and everyone on Maui who has been impacted by the fires.

This is the first time ever that float therapy has been provided to an entire community at no cost to them. With this funding, we plan to dramatically improve Maui’s mental health. Sending a big mahalo to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation for this incredible award!
